Ingredients
- ½ cup Panko
- ½ cup Dill pickle potato chips
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch seasoning salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbps canola oil
- 1 fillet halibut
Side:
- Mashed potatoes
Instructions
- Crush ½ cup potato chips and add ½ cup panko into a bowl.
- Add a pinch of garlic, salt, and black pepper to mix.
- Beat two eggs with a fork in a separate bowl.
- Add a dash of canola oil to pan, and heat to medium-high heat.
- Dry the halibut with paper towel.
- Slice halibut into strips.
- Dip strips in the egg, coat well.
- Then dip strips into the panko mixture, coat both sides, and add to pan.
- Fry halibut strips.
- Add a tbsp of butter to pan for extra flavour once oil gets low.
- Flip once golden brown, set aside once done.
Side dish:
- Add tbsp of butter to new pan.
- Add mashed potatoes with pepper, salt, and garlic powder.
